My local source and passionate Nice fan has recommended two bars for you to get pre-match drinks. Both are located in the old town, vieux Nice, and serve relatively reasonably priced drinks and are open from 3pm to 2am.
Ma Nolan’s is the undisputed headquarters for the English-speaking world in Nice. An Irish pub with live music every night, serving food and drinks and showing plenty of sport on the big screen. Well worth a visit if you’re in town.

Guinness – €6.20

De Klomp is a bar focused around beer and rock music with a big screen and TVs for sporting events. There’s mannequins in the windows and a whole Amsterdam Red Light District vibe to the place which gives this bar a great atmosphere. And if that wasn’t enough, they even brew their own beer!
Beer – €6.50
Guinness – €6.50
Cocktails – €7
Whisky – €7
Glass of wine – €3

Travelling from the airport to the centre of Nice
Getting into the city centre from the airport is really easy. Coming out of either terminal 1 or terminal 2 you will find a bus stop. At both of these bus stops you can take the bus number 98 which will take you along the Promenade des Anglais with incredible views out over the beach and sea. To visit the bars we talked about above, the best place to get off the bus would be Station J.C. Bermond which is just a couple of minutes walk away from them both.

Getting to the stadium
From here you take the number 70 bus direction “Carros Pagnol”. This bus should take 25 minutes to go the 17 stops to “Les Baraques” where you’ll get off for the last walk to the stadium which should take about 15 minutes or so.
